  • Taking up responsibility as the lead to integrate the changes suggested by the USAF and UNP during the Post Integration Review 2024, leading to debugging the FSW for SD card and GPS parser issues

  • Establishing error-free integrations by resolving the UART errors and cementing concrete communication between the CDH and Comms sub-system with the ADCS & GPS boards

  • Incorporating the sensors and hardware testing plan and establishing a Testing Hypothesis to integrate all the sensors and boards working seamlessly in sync across multiple Day In The Life DITL Tests

Spearheaded the designing & manufacturing operations for 5+ on-road FS vehicles from 2019- 2023. Maintained, improved and optimised manufacturing processes within the organisation & delivered high standards of race engineering liable quality and cost.

  • Optimised Designing & Manufacturing operations: structured timeline of FS vehicles delivery by determining the sequence of processes required, achieving on-time delivery, optimizing project timelines by 45% & reducing vehicle costs by 22%

  • Analyzed and Investigated: CAD modelling and FEA for 20+ automotive components, verified product specifications, drawings, data, operation sheets using GD&T to ensure precision within ±0.01 mm, & applied topology optimization, reducing vehicle weight by 15% & increasing structural efficiency by 12%

  • Process Engineering: performed planning & process capability audits from time to time within the department and for the team to minimize production risks & costs, improved productivity, quality and consistency of component delivery. Performed process capability studies as and when required to maintain ASME standards of production. Accommodated changes to the vehicle design and adjusted the impact on production and analyses procedures.

  • Documentation & Statistical Analysis: prepared SES with DOE (Design of Experiments) to validate design choices, value stream mapping to reduce waste and improved outputs by 64%, presented design ideologies & performance metrics at FSAE forums, rocketing team evaluation scores by 62% which helped the team rise in national rankings from 50th to 1st, improved lap times by 8%, vehicle cornering & acceleration efficiencies by 18%.

About Me

Currently an MS student at the Ann & H. J. Smead School of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder, focusing on Astrodynamics and Satellite Navigation Systems and specializing in Satellite Systems Design.
Besides this, working as an ADCS Engineer for MAXWELL SmallSat Mission which is part of the Air Force Research Laboratory's University Nanosat Program 9, and as part of the NASA Small Satellite Technology Program to develop a high-rate CubeSat communication system that is compatible with the NASA Near-Earth Network. Parallelly, working as an Avionics Engineer with the CU Sounding Rocket Laboratory, currently involved with projects for the year 2024-2025.
